Liturgy of the Word for Children takes place during the Liturgy of the Word during the 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Mass.  Children are taken to another room where they will hear the Word of God proclaimed to them in a more understandable form.  The children remain there for a brief catechesis on the readings, as well as for the Creed and Prayer of the Faithful.

This ministry is always looking for people who would like to serve as catechists.  This does not require a weekly commitment.  Readings and lesson materials are provided.
