Mercy College has a scholarship opportunity available for a Christ the King parishioner!  The Bishop James Hoffman Parish Scholarship is $500 per semester renewable up to $4,000 for a Bachelor’s Degree Program and $2,000 for an Associate's Degree Program.  To qualify you must be a new full-time student at Mercy College, incoming freshman or transfer, and declare an intention of interest in the Healthcare Program of Study.

To apply for this scholarship, please submit to Fr. Bill Rose a 1,000 word essay about the role of religion in the practice of medicine.  The deadline for submission is August 1, 2012 with priority status given to submissions prior to March 1, 2012.
