Catholic Circle of Caring Cooperative Blood Drive Program
Christ the King welcomes the American Red Cross to our parish campus twice per year for their much needed blood drives. Only 5% of Americans donate blood although many of us will have a need for blood sometime during our lifetimes. If you are eligible, please plan to give. You can donate blood every 56 days if you are at least 17 years of age, weight at least 110 pounds, and are in general good health. Remember to bring ID when donating.
The Catholic Circle of Caring allows donors to give blood six times throughout the year by following the calendar:
Friday, January 15, 2010 St. Pius X, 1:00-6:00 p.m.
Sunday, March 14, 2010 Christ the King Activities Building, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Tuesday, May 11, 2010 Blessed Sacrament, 12:00-6:00 p.m.
Friday, July 16, 2010 St. Pius X, 12:00-6:00 p.m.
