It has been an exciting summer! We have been busy preparing for the upcoming school year and cannot wait to see the halls filled with the children of Christ the King.

Thank you to the administrative and maintenance staff and all of our volunteers who have made this possible!

We are pleased to share with you the changes which have occurred in our staffing. Below is a list of the changes to help you become familiar with our staff members who will share in the development of our children:

• Mrs. Kacie Traver - Computer Teacher and Technology Specialist
• Miss Pat Freppel - First and Second Grade Teaching Assistant
• Mrs. Nikki Patterson - First and Second Grade Teaching Assistant
• Mrs. Cindy Roberts - Sixth Grade Teacher
• Mrs. Theresa Betori - Sixth Grade Teacher
• Miss Kelly Schoettley - Eighth Grade Home Room and Junior High Language Arts Teacher
• Extended Day Director - Mrs. Jackie Westfall
• Extended Day Staff - Mrs. Cathy Dudley, Mr. Alex Timofeev, and Mr. Evan Simon
• Mrs. Shelley Murnen - Administrative Assistant

One ongoing change for the next few months is an update to the school website. Thank you the Endowment Committee for the approval of our grant request to upgrade the website to make it more friendly and functional! Thank you also to all of the parishioners who have supported this fund in the past, we truly appreciate your sacrifice.

Finally, I would like you to know about the support I have had during my transition to Christ the King. Father Bill has gone above and beyond the call of duty from his duties as our spiritual leader. Having him involved has been instrumental to what we are trying to establish here at Christ the King School. His support has been superb and much appreciated. I also need to thank Mrs. Joyce Irwin for her continued dedication to our school and children. She literally hasn't taken a single day off through this transition and her service is invaluable!

I look forward to the year to come and sharing the foundation of our faith with the children at Christ the King.
