The Sacrament of Matrimony is the sacred partnership of life and love between a man and woman, forged by God, that is ordered to the well-being of the spouses and to the procreation and upbringing of children.
In the Diocese of Toledo, there normally is a six-month preparation period for couples desiring to marry. Couples preparing for marriage will complete a meaningful preparation process personally designed to help them enter into the gift and mystery of married love.
